Does Siteplore replace SCADA, DCS or power-plant control systems?
No. Siteplore is positioned as a monitoring, data-integration and analytics layer. Existing control and automation systems remain responsible for their engineered control functions.
Does PowerWatch replace protective relays?
No. PowerWatch is intended for electrical monitoring, trending and analytical visibility. Protective relays and circuit-protection equipment remain dedicated protection functions.
Can Siteplore use our existing electrical meters?
Potentially yes. Existing meters can be evaluated for communication interface, protocol, register availability and required measurements.
Can Siteplore monitor substations?
Selected substation and feeder measurements can potentially be incorporated where suitable metering, communication and access are available. Protection and control functionality remains separate.
Can MachineGuard be used on power-plant auxiliaries?
Selected motors, pumps, fans and other rotating auxiliary equipment can be considered for retrofit condition monitoring subject to engineering review.
Can Siteplore support solar PV monitoring?
Yes. A suitable architecture can combine electrical generation with compatible irradiance, weather, module-temperature and other environmental measurements.
Is Siteplore a certified power-quality analyzer?
No. Available power-quality-related information depends on the connected measurement instrument. Detailed power-quality analysis requires suitable equipment and an appropriately engineered measurement system.
Can Siteplore automatically trip equipment?
Siteplore monitoring products should not be assumed to provide automatic safety-critical shutdown or machinery-protection functions. Those functions require dedicated engineered systems.
Can data from several sites be shown together?
A multi-site monitoring architecture can be considered where connectivity, data structure and access requirements support the intended deployment.
Does every project require new sensors?
No. Existing meters, sensors and automation data should be evaluated first. New measurement devices are only required where important monitoring gaps remain.
Does every power project require AI?
