Connect Field Data. Understand What Is Happening.
Siteplore connects compatible sensors, meters and equipment to cloud-based monitoring so operational teams can review current measurements, historical trends, events and analytical context without depending only on periodic manual inspection.
Many important operating conditions are still visible only when someone checks them.
Industrial and distributed operations often contain useful measurements that remain local, manually recorded or isolated inside separate devices. Siteplore provides a way to connect selected information into one historical monitoring environment without assuming that every existing system must be replaced.
Manual Measurements
Data may only become available during operator rounds or scheduled inspections.
Isolated Instruments
Useful meters and sensors may exist but their data remains local to the equipment.
Missing Historical Context
A current reading alone does not show whether the condition is normal, changing or recurring.
Distributed Sites
Remote equipment can be difficult to observe without physical inspection.
Different Data Sources
Energy, machine condition, environment and process information may live in separate systems.
Data Without Action
Collecting more data creates little value unless it helps users recognize meaningful operational changes.
Build connected monitoring around the operational condition that matters.
Monitoring scope is determined by the available measurements, suitable field interfaces and the operational objective.
Electrical & Energy
Monitor compatible electrical and energy measurements.
Machine Condition
Collect selected condition and operating information for equipment monitoring.
Environmental Conditions
Connect compatible weather and environmental instruments.
Water & Agriculture
Monitor selected water, soil and field conditions.
Process & Utilities
Add operational context from compatible field measurements.
Remote Assets
Connect distributed monitoring points where physical inspection is difficult or infrequent.
Different measurements require different integration approaches.
IoT monitoring is not simply connecting a cable to a gateway. Sensor protocol, register mapping, signal type, power, isolation, grounding and installation conditions must be reviewed for each application.
Industrial Digital
Compatible RS485 / Modbus RTU devices can be integrated where communication parameters and register maps are known.
Analog Signals
4–20 mA or other analog signals require suitable industrial input or conversion hardware where supported by the design.
Local Digital
Application-specific GPIO, UART or other compatible local interfaces may be considered.
Network Data
Compatible APIs, MQTT or network protocols can be integrated where appropriate.
From physical measurement to operational visibility.
Sensor / Meter
Measures the relevant physical parameter.
Acquisition
Collects compatible measurements from the field.
Secure Data Transfer
Sends selected data through the configured network path.
Time-Series Data
Stores measurement history for monitoring and analysis.
Grafana Cloud
Dashboards, trends, alerts and analytical context.
Keep the focus on operations, not on maintaining monitoring servers.
Siteplore can use managed cloud services for time-series storage and visualization, reducing the need for customers to operate their own monitoring infrastructure.
Connected data can support progressively more useful analysis.
Grafana Cloud provides monitoring and analytical capabilities that can extend Siteplore beyond basic visualization where supported by the selected stack, data source and customer configuration.
Dashboards & Trends
Review current values, historical behavior, comparisons and time-series context.
Alerts & Monitoring Events
Use configured alerting to highlight selected conditions requiring further attention.
Investigations
Use available investigation workflows to explore relevant monitoring changes and context.
Metric Forecasts
Forecasting can be evaluated for suitable time-series metrics where supported by available data and the deployed Grafana capability.
Outlier Detection
Outlier-detection capabilities can help identify unusual behavior in suitable monitored metrics.
Assistant & Search
Available AI-assisted and search capabilities can support investigation and navigation where enabled in the customer stack.
Advanced analytics capabilities depend on the Grafana Cloud plan, data-source compatibility, available historical data and customer configuration. They should not be interpreted as guaranteed predictive accuracy or automatic operational decisions.
A dashboard cannot correct an unreliable measurement.
Useful IoT monitoring starts with appropriate measurement technology, installation and data context. Analytics only becomes meaningful after the field-data foundation is credible.
Right Measurement
Select a parameter that actually represents the operational question.
Correct Sensor
Measurement technology must be suitable for the application and expected environment.
Representative Location
Sensor placement should provide meaningful information about the condition being monitored.
Reliable Communication
Data transmission should be appropriate to the site and network constraints.
Contextual Metadata
Site, area, asset, device and measurement identity help preserve data meaning.
Verification & Maintenance
Sensors and instruments may require calibration, cleaning, inspection or validation.
Different monitoring problems use different field acquisition layers.
Siteplore products provide application-focused paths for bringing selected field information into the monitoring platform.

IoT Monitoring FAQ
What is Siteplore IoT Monitoring?
Siteplore IoT Monitoring is the platform capability that connects compatible field measurements to cloud-based historical monitoring, visualization and analytical workflows.
Is IoT Monitoring the same as RekaSense?
No. IoT Monitoring is a Siteplore platform capability. RekaSense is one edge product that can provide field acquisition for compatible multi-sensor monitoring applications.
Can existing sensors be used?
Potentially yes. Existing sensors should be reviewed for measurement suitability, protocol, signal type, power, installation and available documentation.
Does RS485 mean a sensor is automatically compatible?
No. RS485 defines the physical communication layer. Integration still requires compatible protocol behavior, register information, addressing, baud rate, parity and appropriate field wiring.
Can Siteplore monitor 4–20 mA instruments?
Potentially yes through suitable analog input or signal-conversion hardware. A standard RS485-first gateway should not be assumed to accept 4–20 mA directly.
Does Siteplore use InfluxDB?
A cloud time-series platform such as InfluxDB Cloud can be used as the historical data layer according to the configured Siteplore architecture.
Does Siteplore use Grafana Cloud?
Grafana Cloud can provide the visualization and analytics environment for Siteplore customer monitoring. The broader Siteplore solution also includes field measurements, edge acquisition, data architecture and engineering services.
Can customers log in to their dashboards?
Yes. Customer monitoring access can be configured using authenticated Grafana Cloud user identities according to the selected deployment model.
Can Siteplore provide alerts?
Configured alerting can be used for selected monitoring conditions where technically justified and included in project scope.
Can Siteplore forecast future values?
Grafana Cloud metric-forecasting capabilities can be evaluated for suitable monitored metrics where the customer stack, data source, historical data and use case support them. Forecasts should not be interpreted as guaranteed outcomes.
Can Siteplore detect abnormal behavior?
Trend analysis, configured alerts and available outlier-detection capabilities can support identification of selected unusual behavior. Performance depends on data quality and the analytical method used.
Does Siteplore have AI?
AI-assisted capabilities available within the deployed Grafana Cloud environment can support search, investigation and analytical workflows where enabled. Siteplore does not assume that every deployment automatically includes every AI capability.
Can Siteplore control pumps or machines automatically?
Not as a standard IoT Monitoring function. Automatic control requires dedicated control engineering, interlocks and application-specific validation.
Can Siteplore replace PLC, SCADA or DCS?
No. Siteplore is positioned as a monitoring, historical-data and analytics layer. PLC, DCS and SCADA remain appropriate for their control and plant-operational functions.
Can one Siteplore system monitor multiple sites?
Multi-site monitoring can be designed where the connectivity, customer access and cloud architecture support the requirement.
How should we start?
Start with the operational question: what condition should become visible, how is it measured today, and what decision would improve if the data were available historically and remotely? Rekacipta can then assess the appropriate sensor, edge, connectivity and cloud architecture.
Do not start with the dashboard. Start with the condition you need to understand.
Rekacipta can help define the right measurement points, connect compatible field devices, establish the cloud monitoring path and turn operational time-series data into useful Siteplore dashboards, alerts and analytical context.
