No. Siteplore is positioned as a monitoring, data-integration and analytics layer. Existing BMS or building controllers remain responsible for their engineered control functions.
Can Siteplore use data from our existing BMS?
Potentially yes. Selected BMS data can be evaluated where suitable interfaces, permissions, data availability and integration requirements support it.
Can Siteplore use our existing electrical meters?
Potentially yes. Existing meters can be assessed for protocol compatibility, available registers and the measurements required by the project.
Can PowerWatch monitor energy by floor or tenant?
Yes where appropriate electrical sub-metering or suitable existing meter data are available. The measurement boundary should be defined during engineering.
Can MachineGuard monitor HVAC pumps and fans?
Selected pumps, motors and fans can be considered for retrofit condition monitoring based on equipment configuration, criticality and monitoring objectives.
Can RekaSense monitor indoor environmental conditions?
Compatible environmental sensors can potentially be connected depending on the required parameter, interface and deployment architecture.
Does Siteplore automatically optimize HVAC control?
Not by default. Siteplore provides monitoring, historical context and analytical insight. Automatic HVAC control requires a separately engineered BMS or control architecture.
Can Siteplore control lighting?
The standard Siteplore offering should not be assumed to replace lighting-control systems. Integration or automated-control requirements would need separate engineering.
Can Siteplore be used for fire alarm or life-safety systems?
No. Fire alarm, emergency systems and other life-safety functions require dedicated, appropriately engineered and certified systems.
Can multiple buildings be shown in one dashboard?
A multi-site architecture can be considered where connectivity, access and data structure support the intended deployment.
Does every facility project require new sensors?
No. Existing meters, BMS data and local instruments should be evaluated first. New monitoring points are only required where useful information is missing.
Does every building project need AI?
